Oh man, so this week, let’s dive into a saga about trying to score that mythical Switch 2. You know, it’s a real quest, like trying to find the last donut at a party. I don’t even know why it’s stuck with me, but it did — maybe because we’ve all been there?
Anyway, we kick things off around the two-minute mark, trying to wrangle this elusive beast from the clutches of those retailers who seem to exist in some Kafkaesque landscape. And somehow, against all odds… we pulled it off. Imagine a heist, but with pixelated hopes and dreams. James, in some kind of mad genius logic I can barely fathom, shifted gears to listener mail (I don’t even know how he does it). Someone’s wondering why so many Switch 2 games only come on key cards — like, what’s up with that? Oh, and then there’s this debate – should you snag Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive if you’ve already got the Wii U version haunting your shelf?
From there, James somehow swerves us back on track — or maybe off-track? Does it matter? Anyway, we’re talking new business. Guillaume’s wrapped up X’s new content and, for reasons I don’t quite get, he’s muddling through The Gunk. Then there’s Jon, who’s got himself lost in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Classic Jon, really. Circling around the moon, I guess.
Shoot us an email if you’re as lost as we are. Or not. Up to you.
Oh, quick credits check: Guillaume did the editing magic. The “Men of Leisure” theme — I gotta give a shout-out to Perry Burkum for that masterpiece. You should totally check out his SoundCloud. And hey, the logo? Hats off to Connor Strickland for crafting that beauty. I mean, logos are hard, right? He’s got some cool stuff over on his site.
Wrapping things up, we get a little musical nod to Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones — thanks to Greg for that pick. Nintendo’s behind the rights there, naturally. And that’s all she wrote. Or all I wrote. Whatever.
