If you’d told me, like yesterday, that my current obsession—Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters—would collide head-on with my old faithful love for Star Wars, I would’ve probably just laughed. Seriously. I mean, what on earth do Cal Kestis and his pals from the Jedi franchise have in common with Rumi, Zoey, and Mira from, oh, you know, HUNTR/X? But hey, surprise! Both groups love slaying bad guys—and looking fabulous while at it. Who would’ve thought?

“You want more? Cal, I think they want more.” So says Bode, and boom! Suddenly Cal’s kicking and Bode’s jetpacking his way into a mean old punch. Merrin? She’s twirling her staff like it’s choreography for a music video. Crazy hype. Me, I’m loving every second, and there’s still a minute left.

Been following AnimatedJen’s channel for ages. The energy? Unmatched. All the love poured into this wild alternate universe where Cal’s an Inquisitor—count me in! Fans have always loved Jedi games, right? Honestly, live-action needs these characters pronto.
