So, here’s the scoop—this Switch Online thing, which they kicked off last fall, is getting another run. More room for new faces to poke around the app. Fun, right?
Okay, so if you’ve got that Expansion Pack and you’re 18 or up as of the mystical hour of 6 p.m. ET today, you’re in the zone. You can throw your hat in the ring starting Monday at 11 a.m. until Wednesday at 10:59 a.m. Go find the magic webpage to sign up. Does anyone else find these times oddly specific? Weird, but whatever. Oh, and if you’re in Japan, you might end up in a lottery situation. The rest of us get to duke it out on a first-come, first-served basis. The window? July 28 at 9 p.m. ET until August 10 at 9:59 p.m. ET. Gotta love a long test window.
Anyway—hang on, lost my train of thought there—right, so this time around, it’s not just for 10,000 lucky ducks. They’ve bumped it up to 40,000 worldwide. And guess what? More countries are jumping in—Canada, Mexico, Brazil… you know, the usual suspects hanging out with the U.S., Japan, UK, and friends in Europe. Plus, you can roll with a crew of up to four now. Sounds a bit like forming a band, hope everyone gets along.
