First things first, to use these codes in the game on your Switch, you gotta hook up to the internet. Yup, not free though – need that Nintendo Switch Online doohickey. Always something.
About half an hour in, you’ll stumble into the Paladin’s Guild over in Eternia Village. I mean, if you’re super speedy, maybe less? Anyway, then you’ll pick some Life. Whatever that means.
And voilà! Next thing you know, you unlock this Gifts icon on your Weird Pad. Pretty odd name, right? But hey, fantasy worlds have their quirks. To make the magic happen, just tap on this Gifts icon and boom – the Gift Code Entry thingy pops up. Connect online, punch in that code, and hey presto, loot in your inventory. Just don’t ask me what that stuff actually does.
