Sure thing, here’s my take on it:

So, Destiny 2 just got a shiny new update. Yeah, Bungie did their magic again, fixing up bugs that have been bugging players forever (pun intended?). This game’s heading towards some big changes with all that July hoopla coming up, so I guess they thought, “Hey, let’s clean this mess up.” We’re still in Episode Heresy, by the way, if you’re keeping track.
Everyone’s buzzing about the upcoming Edge of Fate expansion (myself included, I admit). But peeps have finally gotten their paws on the revamped Prophecy dungeon, part of the Rite of the Nine. This is all happening as Destiny 2’s Weekly Reset for June 2 decided to spice things up by rotating to the last dungeon in the set of three. Cool beans, right? Grab some new gear, explore the Rite of the Nine social space. Oh, and those loot buffs? They’re on their way. Patience is key here.
Alright, what’s next? Ah, yes. Alongside the dungeon thing, Bungie threw in an update for Destiny 2. Remember that quirky behavior where players naively chose the Gjallarhorn’s Exotic Catalyst even if they already got one? Yeah, that’s fixed. Less regrettable clicks now, maybe? Choose something cooler, people!
The update’s bringing some specific fixes too. Cruoris FR4’s fusion rifle—when you tried to enhance it, the Impact stat just went poof. Like, seriously? Well, that’s fixed. And for folks using Echo of Domineering and Facet of Command with bows, wave goodbye to that weird animation glitch. High-five for Void and Prismatic players!
A big nod to those aiming for the Eternal title. That Seeker of the Nine Triumph was a hot mess, only tracking per character when it’s supposed to be per account. I bet a lot of you yelled at your screens about that one. All good now.
People are still on the edge of their seats for July 15. Edge of Fate, right? It’s this big chunk of newness: new weapon types, exotic gear, buildcrafting, loot systems, portals… it’s all happening. It’s a part of Codename Frontiers or should I say, Year of Prophecy?
Oh, patch notes? We’ve got lots going on. Like, in Rite of the Nine, they fixed that issue with Gjallarhorn’s Exotic Catalyst selection (yeah, mentioned it already but it felt important). Weapons got a serious look-see too. Ever noticed how Nature Reclaimed’s reticle was having an off day? It isn’t anymore. And enhanced Jolting Feedback works better across all archetypes. About time, right?
Abilities had their share of fixes. Those animation glitches with Void and Prismatic—bows got their mojo back. Then Triumphs got some love, correcting Seeker of the Nine tracking issues.
Destiny 2’s been around since August 28, 2017. Still a rollercoaster, huh? Anyway, we’re not done or are we? Maybe, but hey, Year of Prophecy’s promising a lot of action. Mark your calendars, it’s gonna be a blast.
