Sure thing. Here you go:

Alright, so here’s the scoop: it’s Wednesday and we’ve got some pretty sweet news. CD Projekt is making moves with Cyberpunk 2077’s sequel. Yep, they’re past the initial scribblings and onto what they call pre-production. Used to go by Project Orion – nah, now it’s just Cyberpunk 2. Boom.
They dropped this tidbit during a money chat – you know, financial results blah blah. But the big deal? They’re patting themselves on the back because they’re gearing up to throw the first Cyberpunk game onto Nintendo Switch 2. Brave, right? Or maybe it’s expected. Depends who’s asking.
So a few weeks back – or was it months? Time’s a blur – the CD Projekt Red folks wrapped up the thinky-think phase. They were like, “Okay, we can do this,” and called it pre-production. It’s all there in black and white if you peep those financial docs – which I don’t, but maybe you do when you’re bored.
Random fact: As of April 30, they’ve ramped up to 96 devs on Cyberpunk 2. Was only 84 in February. Not massive but hey, Witcher 4’s hogging 422 devs, so it’s all relative. There’s also the “shared services” crew, 131 of ’em. They do the nitty-gritty stuff – localization, QA, the works.
Oh, and speaking of hits, the Phantom Liberty expansion hit 10 million sales. The Witcher 3? What’s it now, like 60 million after a decade? Dogtown and monster hunts. Classic.
Name-wise, who knows what they’ll settle on. Cyberpunk 2 works – for now. But legendary tabletop dude Mike Pondsmith hints we might be cruising into a city that’s got those “Chicago gone wrong” vibes. Just what we needed, right?
Anyway, cookies and all that web stuff. You do you.
