Upcoming Xbox Game Releases: May 12 to May 18

Alright, here goes — So, the Xbox lineup’s like a runaway train, pouring out games faster than I can remember what day it is. Like, seriously, it’s a waterfall of digital adventures, and somewhere in that mix is the big one: DOOM: The Dark Ages. Feels medieval, right? It’s one of those fantasy shooters — you know, that thing from id Software and Bethesda? And it’s making waves, different from the usual pew-pew we’ve come to love since 2016.

Speaking of love, I went wild over this one. Gave it a perfect score — can’t remember the last time I did that. Must be something in the air. Anyway, if you’re on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass (is it just me, or do these names get longer every year?), you can dive in without more cash flying out your wallet. • Labyrinth of the Demon King: A dungeon crawler where, let’s be real, survival is the name of the game. Samurai meets scary — and who doesn’t love a bit of feudal Japan battling demons?

• Palia: Ever dreamt of building your own utopia? Done. Craft, explore, dream big. It’s like Animal Crossing’s fantasy cousin with much more going on.

• The Precinct: Rookie cop, 1980s noir, mystery solved? Maybe. If I had a nickel for every car chase, well, I’d probably lose it in the couch anyway.

• Hidden Kittens: Kingdom of Cats: Cat lovers, your fantasy wonderland awaits. Find those felines hidden in every nook. Over 350, did you catch that? Madness.

• Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy: Monsters and wrestling in 16-bit joy. Sounds bonkers but hilariously awesome.

• Recycle Bin Battle: Quirky, random, kind of like Tetris on a sugar rush. Align trash, break defenses, save humanity — usual day at the arcade.

• Super Engine GT Turbo SPEC: Go from zero to adrenaline in old-school racing style. Eight tracks and just as many cars. It’s a kind of nostalgia hit that whizzes past way too fast.

• City Bus Manager: Feel like rewriting your city’s bus map? Here’s your shot. Beirut or Berlin, maybe both — connect the dots and watch it grow.
