Sure, here it goes:

Alright, so here’s the thing about the Pokemon TCG Pocket and this whole “Eevee Grove” set that’s been out for, like, a couple of weeks now — maybe a bit more, who’s counting? Anyway, unless you’re one of those players who’s really on the hunt for some elusive cards to jazz up your deck, it’s probably time to stash those Hourglasses. The next expansion droppeth sometime, I dunno, end of July? It’s a mystery. Though some are whispering about Gen 2 and Gen 3 critters. It’s been kinda slim pickings for them in the game, so makes sense. But who knows, really?
Now, let’s talk Fighting cards. They badly need a glow-up. Since “Triumphant Light,” it’s been a bit of a snooze fest on that front. Not saying there aren’t good Fighting decks, okay? Just that they’re replaying the same old tunes, over and over. Only a couple of decks really see action, and they’re pulling cards from “Space-Time Smackdown” or “Triumphant Light.” Lucario Ex from “Shining Revelry” had a little moment, but nada much besides Passimian Ex and Lycanroc Ex. Really, the rock stars of Fighting decks are still Rampardos and Garchomp Ex. No drama, just facts.
Speaking of Rampardos, it’s basically a legend in its own lifetime. “Space-Time Smackdown” brought it onto the scene, and folks have been loving it since January 2025. (Feels like ages ago now, doesn’t it?) With 150 HP and delivering 130 damage for just one Fighting Energy, it’s kind of a big deal. Sure, the recoil from its Head Smash gives it a little slap, 50 damage back, but hey, worth it. Fast and fierce — like a true embodiment of Fighting Pokémon.
Though yeah, you gotta play the Skull Fossil, which might sound like a big hassle but, thanks to Rare Candy… poof! You’re ready to take on the world by your second turn. Silvally pairs up with it like they were meant to be, you know? And sure, even if it’s called a “half-Fighting” deck since, yeah, Silvally’s a Normal-type… semantics, right?
And listen, while Rampardos is worth tearing open packs of “Space-Time Smackdown,” the Fighting cards need new heroes. Garchomp Ex from “Triumphant Light” pops up a lot too — it’s beefy with 170 HP as a Stage 2 Ex, swinging with Linear and Dragon Claw attacks like nobody’s business. Team it with Rampardos and Lillie as your cheerleader, and you’ve got a healing powerhouse. Cyrus gets a nod too, giving you a chance to yank Pokémon around — bench to spotlight, wham, bam.
That’s the dish on the Fighting card scene for now. It’s like waiting for an epic movie sequel — something new’s gotta give, right?
